Pre-university students join across the four tracks and do real work on the project.

The writeup and its guide go live, with everyone who worked on it named.
A named credit
Your name on the published work, if you want it. Under 18s need written guardian consent first, and are credited by role and school until it is on file.
A real reference
Written by whoever supervised you, describing what you actually did. Specific enough to be worth reading.

A writeup and a guide at a public URL that you helped build.
Lead a project
You bring the question and own the project end to end: the design, the analysis, the writeup, and the small team working with you. We provide the platform it publishes on, the review before it goes out, and the pipeline that turns it into a guide other people can read.
Come with a project idea, even a rough one. A lead without a question is not yet a lead, and it is the part of the form we read most closely.

No prior experience is assumed and none is required. You join a live project on one of the four tracks below, you are given real work rather than an exercise, and you are credited on the finished piece. Expect a few hours a week over a term, alongside school.
Quantitative analyst
Modelling and research. Building, testing and trying to break the numbers a project rests on.
Financial reporting analyst
Writing and reporting. Turning what a project finds into something a reader can follow.
Economic analyst
Economic research, more qualitative than quantitative. The context and the mechanism behind the numbers.
Curriculum curator
Writing and shaping the guide, so the finished project makes sense to someone starting from scratch.

This is an early statement of how we work, not a finished policy. Everything in it is true of how we operate today, and none of it promises something we have not built.
- All contact runs through monitored group channels, never private messages.
- No unsupervised one-to-one contact between adults and under-18s.
- No under-18 contributor is named publicly without written consent from a parent or guardian.
- Direct submissions through our forms are for people aged 16 and over. Guardian consent is captured separately, before anyone under 18 joins a team.
We are developing a full policy with input from teachers, and will publish it here before working with any school.
